Find all our Polar Post Box toppers!
This year there will be over 50 post box toppers to find. Our yarnbombers will place the toppers in and around St Albans. Stay tuned for an interactive map!
In 2018 and 2019, they made you smile, and you shared photos using #polarpost, tagging our local business sponsors and the polar bear team @plungestalbans on Twitter and Instagram!
Many of last year’s supporters (below) have already signed up to support us, and as we have 52 (and possibly more) toppers this year there will be more christmassy magic and more wonderful business sponsors.
All fund generated from sponsorship and donations from the public to the Polar Post Box toppers will be split three ways between local charities Earthworks, Small Acts of Kindness and Age Concern.
The map below will be replaced to show locations, and you will be able to download it and follow the trail. We will also be sharing a running trail for all you runners out there.
Atlas Translations, MyMustard, Rayner Essex, The Barefoot Accountant, DigitalJen, Joanne Todd from Norwex, Rebecca Sessions of physiospecialist.co.uk, Sweet Charity Marketing, Redbourn Auto Solutions, Alex Kremer (Calm Family), Louise Brennan of LAC Antenatal Care, the team at Total Legacy Care (TLC), the Indigo Tree, The Business Community St Albans (TBC), MacPro Design and Print, Rocket Girl Coaching, Catherine Jones of Flowers by Catherine, and MCE Herts.
Thanks also to the fabulous yarning team of volunteers who worked hard since January 2019, coordinated by the incredible Candy Stuart. These include:
Herts Belles WI including Janet West and Lizzie Steer
We are so grateful to this team for all their work – their time, and their materials, all freely and generously given.
